Qualifying for UEZ membership involves just three steps:
1. You complete a brief UEZ Application and return it to the UEZ Coordinator.
2. The UEZ Coordinator submits your application to the State UEZ Authority for approval.
3. Approved applicants receive a State Tax Certificate authorizing the reduced sales tax rate and tax-exempt purchases.

There is no cost to apply for or participate in the UEZ program.
